Thumb Support PLASTIC Splint

I have a flexor tendon problem with my thumb triggered by overuse of my computer mouse. I found that wearing this support enables me to keep using the mouse without a lot of pain or numbness; the thumb is restricted but not totally incapacitated. It's comfortable to wear although if it's hot, your hand does get a little bit sticky across the lower palm where it covers. I bought mine in July and have been using most days since. The velcro isn't fastening anymore so I'm about to buy a new one but I think it's lasted quite well.

I used this during my recovery from a torn collateral ligament injury (skiers thumb) - it doesn't prevent all movement which was exactly what I wanted, but at the same time prevented overextension of my thumb, protecting it from further injury. Good product for my particular injury.

Does the job and is comfortable to wear

Ok but didnt do anything to eleveate my problem. Service delivery etc very good.
